The Lockerz/Boy Meets Girl event was so much fun last night – wanted to follow up some highlights from the show!
Last night 9/12 Lockerz.com pulled out all the stops as they presented the latest Boy Meets Girl “Forever Young” collection. The Metropolitan Pavilion was filled with lounges, cocktails, beauty booths, and dancing in anticipation of a lively runway show. To match the mood, attendees were sporting pink lips, messy braids, and leather accents.
Stacey Igel, the brand’s creator, could be seen in a Boy Meets Girl Americana T-shirt with a playful skirt perfect for twirling in slow motion. The dresses, hair, and makeup were put together to create a effervescent, whimsical and rocker chic atmosphere that got fashion devotees on their feet.
Inspiration: The young and free romance of Joan Baez and Bob Dylan in the 60’s.
Mood: Free-spirited, bohemian, and carefree.
Music: A live concert from Wyclef Jean with Cris Cab and Jarina De Marco and song selections from crooner chic to emboldened flavor.
